The area is safe and quiet. The hotel is close to Sugarloaf Mountain (great find) and UMASS Amherst! I would stay here again for price and location.
Over all safety fine. Cleanliness was very poor. Grunge on appliances in room and bathroom. Felt yucky.
Stayed with our dog when visiting son at UMass and found the accommodations nice and convenient.
My room was good, clean and quiet.
