Mandatory evacuation from Lake Tahoe. Made reservations for Wednesday through Sunday. Spent Wednesday night in my car. Couldn’t find anyone to take my dog. Went to check in Thursday was told my reservation was canceled and had no rooms available was charged for all four nights. Worst experience ever!

"The most helpful staff I ever had."

We were looking for a place to stay and found the Marriott Courtyard in Carson City Nevada. The staff was very friendly and made us feel like family. We asked them for a recommended road route, to see some of the beautiful countryside in the area and they gave us a route, that went from meadows, to mountains and was incredibly beautiful. They also helped recommend a restaurant for takeout, that had excellent food. The room was very clean and very quiet. We will definitely stay there again and strongly recommend it, you won’t be disappointed.

"Easy Stay"

As I walked in I was greeted by the most pleasant staff at the check in, one of which immediately brought us extra pillows! Rooms were nice, clean and quiet. I love the entry area with the big screen and east seating.

"A Disappointing Stay."

I am a Marriot's reward customer. We don't travel a lot but when we do we expect few things to happen at what we consider a "good" hotel. The room was OK. We came on a Thursday. We had to switch rooms right away since the air conditioner wasn't working, but thankfully we were able to change rooms. We were there from Thursday Sunday. On Saturday morning, we left the room to go out and let it be serviced. Saturday night we cam back and the room hadn't been cleaned, no towels, no tissues, no coffee, no beds made up etc. We called down to the front desk and the girl at the front came up with most of the things that were never replaced. Disappointedly, There was no room service. Disappointedly if you didn't go down at a specific point, there was no available coffee or water in the lobby for one to get. Most hotels we stay in have a coffee machine and water available in the lobby. Then, we had booked online thinking we were getting a good deal, but three nights and three different prices? When I asked the front desk on Sunday if they could find a better discount, like AARP or senior, or AAA, or educator discount, I was told it was too bad I booked it online because I could have gotten a better price and she couldn't do anything to adjust the bill. Very disappointing. I just expect better service and complimentary water/coffee station, mint on the bed.. .better price. .shall I go on? very disappointing.

Was charged an extra 400 dollars that I wasn’t aware of until I made it home. The service was sub par and the property had a awful smell the entire stay.
