From booking to checking out, our experience was great! The Customer Service Team went above and beyond to accommodate our other family members to stay on the same floor close the the two rooms I had booked. We made most of the amenities and enjoyed the pool, the driving range, the arcade, the restaurants, the escape room, bowling, saw a magic show and more! There was something for everyone and we all had a great time. We'd definitely come back again!

The entire hotel is clean and the staff are so accommodating and helpful! There is a good variety of dining, including Charlie’s Steak House that is top notch! Also, there is a large variety of activities for all ages! Definitely our favorite place to stay when in Reno!

We have been traveling for days and thus our 4th stop. Oh my gosh our room and beds are amazing and we had room service and our food is beyond delicious and was a quick room delivery. We also ate in the marketplace and the food was so delicious. We recommend this hotel/resort to everyone.

The hotel was very pretty but service was not great. It was very cold, told the heater was down. There were no cups in the bathroom for rinsing our mouths. I couldn't turn on the shower, called for help, someone finally came up 25 minutes later and this was at 5:30 in the morning so I don't think it was that busy. The worst thing was when we had to go to the check in desk. We had stayed two nights before under my sons name and wanted the room for an extra night. I ad called the hotel several weeks before and paid for the extra night but we had to go down to the desk to change the name. A person named Brianne could not be more unpleasant! Very rude, when I had trouble getting my card out of my wallet, she rolled her eyes and let out a big sigh. There was no one else in line, so it's not like we were holding other people up. She never said thank you or have a nice day, or anything. Now, on the other end, a bellman named David was as nice as he could be. When we left he took our luggage down and we talked to him quite a while while valet got our car. He was very nice and helpful with directions where we wanted to go. There should be more people like him!

We found a small cockroach just before going to bed which was unnerving as we all know where there is one, there are many more. The bed was uncomfortable and cold. We looked for more blankets but none were to be found. The comfort of having greater weight on me while sleeping was unavailable. The staff was great!

When staying at Grand Sierra Resort my room did not have any hot water from 4/25 4/26. No hot water isn't what I paid for. I requested a full refund form the hotel and they can only provide a refund on resort fees for both days. The hotel said to contact you for a refund on the two days for the room. They said they are unable to refund directly and you are able to do it as they agreed. Thanks!

When we arrived we had no water (9th floors and above) when we did get water it was brown for about five minutes. One family member had no hot water. AND another had no door on the bathroom. Our refrigerator was out of the cupboard on the floor. Was very noisy and froze drinks. There was NO notifications of anything. We would need to stand in a long line to complain and then just offered a food voucher for one meal. And we asked/told our housekeeping to just give us towels and NOT enter our room. They did anyway and charged us $2 a day for housekeeping that we specified not to have. The cost we paid for the resort services (?) were way too much for what was not given. I will not stay there again.

Our family spent three days at the Grand Sierra Resort & Casino. The room was modern and clean, the service was a 10/10 and the restaurants were all great. We also went to a concert at the hotel and the venue was amazing. Highly recommend Grand Sierra Resort!

The rooms were perfect! A lot of hotels I’ve been staying at post Covid have provided ONE pillow per person and our room had TWO per person with extra throw pillows which made it so cozy and comfortable! Amenities like gym and spa and late night dining is what we value when we travel so we were very happy with our stay.

At checkout there were hidden charges. I showed the person my contract which showed no additional charges yet it cost me 143.00 more. The restaurant although nice atmosphere provided semi good food for very high prices. The buffet alone was over 90.00 for two older people who won't eat more than two plates. Room was very nice. Maid service was excellent however once again you're charged at checkout for tips. We weren't informed of that and left substantial tip in the room.

We like staying at GSR. Our visits have always been pleasurable. This last visit was not as pleasant for some reason the alarm clock in our room and the room next door was set for 6 am. I could shut ours off, however, the neighboring rooms alarm rang over 10 minutes. I called the service desk and they shut it off.

GSR is very generous with free play, very clean and comfortable rooms. Must say my past visits I enjoyed my limited time on the slots with a very good feeling I would win a little here and there making for a fun experience. I understand the odds are with the house but an occasional win made it all exciting! This trip was the total opposite for me, never felt that excitement just kept pouring money in with only a very small number of wins and seldom won even money on my bet. Getting in a bonus only happened a handful of times and two times won nothing in the bonus round. Winning will keep people coming back, not winning certainly takes the excitement out of your stay making a return trip difficult to get excited about.
