We absolutely loved staying here when we went to the Ohana Festival. It is a beautiful hotel and has a luxury feel to it. Lobby and rooms are updated to a very modern look. It was clean and quiet. Very friendly and helpful staff. Super comfortable room and bed. Pictures are very accurate to how it looked. Nice restaurant in lobby. We ate breakfast there twice and it was delicious. I honestly couldn’t have asked for better. If I go to Ohana again I’ll definitely be staying there.

"Old, dated and dirty, misleading pictures, disappointing, nice lobby though!"

Our first room had fresh stains on the couch and was dirty in many places. It looked like a couple had a good time on the couch if you catch my drift. The bathroom had something like a giant sliding closet door with a huge gap all around it instead of a normal door, so it provided no privacy (that was really weird, I've never seen that before). The room/bathroom looked nothing like the photos on the website. I will admit the shower was nothing crazy, but it was nice and more modern. That was probably the highlight of the room. The lobby was the nicest part of the hotel, it looked fairly fancy and clean. If you want a good pool experience don't stay here. It's tiny. May as well not even have a pool at all. We took one look and decided that we were not going to be swimming during our stay there. The staff was friendly and accommodating to the point where at least they were willing to give us a different room. The new room was relatively clean and didn't have fresh "stains" on the couch so that was good. However, there was this strange large hole in the wall underneath the A/C unit and I believe the only thing between us and the outside air was some kind of thin outer material of the building itself because the noise from the freeway was roaring loud and you could feel a draft coming through there. Also, whoever did the recent slap job of repainting the room dripped white paint all over the carpet below the wall. And the new bathroom thankfully had a normal door on it. Who would have thought I would have to switch rooms to get a door on my bathroom??? This bathroom had an old dated shower though that was not the nice modern one from the room before, which was a shame and a real downgrade. We told the staff we would be willing to pay more $ for a nicer room, we got the deluxe king room I believe and they told us the only room that was an upgrade from that was a suite of any kind and they started at $400 and up per night. We said no thanks, made the best of the room we switched to and will never be coming back to this hotel again. They really need to post more recent pictures of their rooms on the website to be more up front and honest about the kind of room you are actually going to get. Then again, they would probably go out of business if they did that. The stay here was a real disappointment. I hope this helps someone.

"Cool, but the room had a specific odor."

The hotel was super cute, the breakfast buffet was great, everything seemed clean. The only issue I had was there was an odor to our room that smelled very strong like feet. Opening the windowed helped but there isn’t a screen on the window so it couldn’t be left open.
