"Don’t go. Find somewhere else."

I am used to staying in cheaper hotels and motels. I don’t need them to be pretty or fancy. And I know sometimes old places can be clean but not look that clean. But this place was filthy. Gross. Not cleaned. The floors weren’t swept, vacuumed, or mopped. We found someone else’s comb on the bathroom floor. The sheets were stained. The door didn’t lock. We got a phone call at 1:30am from a stranger. The air conditioner sounds like pennies in a can. The pool was closed for maintenance all weekend. Turns out they haven’t installed the ADA chair and they cannot open the pool until they do. When you flush the toilet you have to wait 15 minutes to flush it again. The bathroom lights don’t work right. They flicker and turn off and on by themselves. That’s not fun at night. The breakfast was fine. But the place was so dirty, eat at your own risk. The costumer service staff was friendly but we didn’t bother complaining.
