If you are looking for an authentic English like hotel experience, this is the place to stay. The hotel staff was friendly and responsive. The entire hotel was decorated in a style we have not seen before. The plush curtains, overstuffed furniture, woodburning fires and classical music playing in the very nice and cozy lobby all contributed to a nice atmosphere. We had a wonderful breakfast with coffee and tea with fruit and snacks. Starbucks and the Barro restaurant were both great. Glad we stayed. If you want a relaxed, cozy hotel with lots of features, this is it!

It was like going back in time or visiting Europe or living in a Fairy tale Ish. I loved the stain glass window in our room, and it opened. I felt like I was staying in a castle. I plan to return.

I tried to stay at the Cheshire when I am in St Louis, two or three times a year, if I can afford it. When I get the chance it's always a wonderful and you make experience. Unlike any other Hotel I have stayed at.
