I was stranded due to the DOT/FAA shutdown "solutions" in a city I'd never been to before late at night. It had been a terribly long, upsetting and disappointing day. After an overpriced taxi ride (too late for the shuttle), I was finally greeted with a lovely warm smile at the desk and a warm, clean and comfortable bed. If I ever find myself in Chicago again, I'd consider nowhere else to stay.

There were a ton of flights cancelled. The staff was able to accommodate anxious and tired people. The restaurant was relaxing. The shuttle back to the airport was on time.

We were in Chicago for a concert at the Allstate Arena and it was a perfect location for doing there. There are several restaurants within walking distance and the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful.
