Newly built in 2018 and the closest hotel to the University of Delaware, The SpringHill Suites is the gateway to downtown. The all-suite hotel understands that guests want to connect to the local area, placing a special focus on Newark as an award-winning tourism destination. We offer our guests personalized local expertise and focus on the art of local with regular events at the hotel. Designed for both business and leisure travelers, our new suites are 25% larger than typical hotel rooms. Separate living, working and sleeping spaces provide guests with flexibility and functionality. Each suite also includes a custom, three-in-one West Elm sofa which converts from a sofa to a daybed to a trundle bed. Guests can take advantage of easy access to Main Street Newark by utilizing the hotel’s complimentary shuttle service or the University of Delaware Shuttle bus with Main St. Courtyard Apts. stop located just across the street.
Green Sustainability
Make a Green Choice is open to all guests staying at least two nights regardless of rate plan or booking method. For each day a member forgoes Housekeeping, they earn Marriott Bonvoy points

Enhanced Public Space Cleaning: We have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfection, particularly in areas with high traffic including restrooms, elevators, pool area, fitness center, public restrooms, business center and door handles as well as provided more hand sanitizing stations.Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Staff members are required wear PPE (e.g., face coverings, gloves, etc.) while performing their duties. Guests are required to wear personal face coverings while in any public area of the hotel.Room Amenities: In-room coffee makers are not currently available, but guests will have 24/7 coffee, tea, and water available in the lobby. Ice buckets have also been removed at this time with ice available at the front desk upon request.Every guest room is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected prior to your arrival. During your stay, we will not provide housekeeping automatically every day.
